Sophia Zhang
Director, UNSC
Hi Everyone! My name is Sophia Zhang and I am a grade 8 student at Collège Saint-Louis, a Middle School / High School in Montreal. I like music, especially violin, history, and of course, Model United Nations.
I joined MUN about a year ago, in November of 2023 back when I was in 7th grade. It was like a whole new door opened for me. Since then, I attended various conferences, originally to get to know the world better, until I discovered my great love for crisis committees and chaos, of course. MUN has allowed me to do a bunch of things, anywhere from improving my public speaking and debating skills to sparking up new friendships, and I wish you all the same for this conference. If you have any questions regarding the committee or conference information, please don’t hesitate to email me at Sophiazhangagms0930@gmail.com. I really look forward to meeting you all this year! :) -

Alexandre Zhao
Director, Three Body Problem
Have you ever seen an 88-page position paper? Well, I have, because I wrote it. After all, a workaholic is better than an alcoholic. Judo, BJJ, wrestling- I love grappling and combat sports. There's just nothing like getting thrown throwing others. Although the limits of the human body are a feat to marvel at, it nonetheless pales in comparison to the power of an orbital railgun or a tungsten rod travelling at Mach 3. That is what I wish to address in the Three-Body Problem Committee: How do we outsmart a civilization hundreds of years ahead of our own? SHHH Don't tell anyone yet though, because the sophons are always watching… See you at the committee! (Or online at aiexzhaoal@gmail.com if you have any further inquiries)
